Xishuangbanna is a
Tai Lü autonomous prefecture in the extreme south of
Yunnan. This region of China is noted for its distinct culture, different to that of Han Chinese culture. The people, architecture, language are more similar to those of the Shan and Tai people from neighbouring Laos and Thailand.
This special paint was designed in cooperation with the Government of the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture.
Dai people traditionally celebrate the
Songkran festivities, during which people get water-splashed by elephants. The elephant stickers are different on the two sides.
